Lynnette Anderson

Sessional Lecturer, Master of Education

Lynnette Anderson became chief superintendent of Edmonton Catholic Schools in 2023. As an educator for over 30-years, Lynnette has served as teacher, consultant, assistant principal, principal, division principal, superintendent, and now chief superintendent. She also spent two years on a secondment in the French Language and Education Branch at Alberta Education. Lynnette holds a Bachelor of Education degree and a Master of Education degree focused on early literacy – both from the University of Alberta. She proudly served as Metro Director for the College of Alberta School Superintendents from 2023 to 2025, is currently the chair of the 2026 Sign of Hope Campaign to raise funds for Catholic Social Services, and is a member of the Class Size and Complexity Cabinet Committee established by the Government of Alberta in 2025.

Lynnette is dedicated to providing a Catholic education that inspires learning and prepares students to live fully and serve God in others. She advances student success through faith-filled learning environments where all can thrive. Her relationship-based leadership emphasizes shared purpose and strong collaboration with staff, families, parishes, community partners, and government.
